Mount Sion Silver Band - Memorial Website

This website dedicated to life and times of Mount Sion Silver Band. It is scheduled to be formally launched in time for the Inaugural Reunion of the band, currently scheduled for the October 2009 Bank Holiday weekend. In the intervening time (Summer-Autumn 2009) the site will continue to be developed and enhanced with new and revised content. Please forgive any inaccuracies during this time....

St. Josephs Brass Band - Strabane Co.Tyrone

St Josephs Brass Band was formed in Strabane, Northern Ireland in 1947. One of their ex-players is now with City of Waterford Brass - Imelda O Neill. Imelda's daughter Danielle played with City of Waterford Brass in the past and her son Edward is currently our Soprano cornet player.

Our friends in Waldaschaff, Germany have hosted us twice in their home country. This relationships spans back over 20 years and many friendships have been forged between the band members.

Manx Youth Band - Isle of Man

One of our players - David Quinlan - moved to the Isle of Man for work reasons and through him, City of Waterford Brass have forged a lasting friendship with this band.

In Vino Veritas - France

One of the members of this French band played with us while studying in our local Institute of Technology. In Vino Veritas came to play at Waterfords famous Spraoi Festival in August 2009.
